Good Morning God, thank you for this wonderful, chilly morning. Thank you for life, breath and for my very existence. Thank you O God for all of your creation. Most of all, thank you for your Son, Jesus the Christ, who lowered himself and came to earth in human form to minister to us, to teach us, to be an example to us, and most of all to suffer and die for our sins and then be raised again so that we may be reconciled to you.
I do ask that you will be with me through this day to help me to reach out to the people that I come across. Help me to see them as you do, to see and know their pain, issues, concerns and to help them in their place of need. Help me to be in tune with your Spirit so that I will be able to serve them.
Loving God, I do lift up people that I am aware of to you this morning that are in need of your blessing. You know their individual needs and what is best for them. These people are: Katrina, Arthur, Winnie, Chuck, Noel, Mary and Dave, Rick, Lorrine and James, Marrissa, Ray, Raymond, Dave, Marcus, Danielle, Scott, Mark, Stillwater Congregation, and please be with the President and Congress. I do ask O God that you will please bless each person and group according to their needs. Bless them with your healing touch, love, grace, peace, forgiveness, strength and comfort. Help them to make good decisions, decisions that go along with your will. Help them to work together, to stop pointing fingers, and to come to a solution to fund the government and to temporarily raise the debt ceiling so that they can then work out a balanced budget and spending bill that will start lowering our debt.
Please give us wisdom and knowledge as we study your Word. Open our eyes to see, our ears to hear, and our hearts and brains to know your truth. Help us to incorporate your truth into our lives so that we are always living examples and witnesses. Help us to be able to articulate our witness and compassion to others. Help us to show and give your unconditional love and grace to everyone.
I do ask that you be with me and with all of your servants. Help us to be in tune with you so that we will know how best to tend the flock that you have given us to take care of. Help us to reach out and to minister unto them and unto our communities. Guide us in our ministry and help us to be better servants. Help us all to preach repentance, love, grace and help us to show the people you.
Thank you again O God for your many blessings and miracles you give us each and every day. I ask these things in your Son’s most holy and sacred name, Jesus the Christ. Amen.
